HR & Employee Management¶
Overview¶
Scott Recycling's HR modules work together to support the full employee lifecycle. Onboarding teaches new hires how their role fits into the business and why things are done a certain way. Evaluations measure performance with role-specific criteria and weighted ratings. Position Profiles serve as the single source of truth linking training paths, KPI templates, and evaluation criteria for every role. Recruitment brings in new talent through a branded careers portal integrated with the company website.

Quick Access by Role¶
New Employees -- Start with Onboarding. Your manager will assign you a role path with playbooks, tasks, and steps to complete during your first weeks.
Managers -- Use Evaluations to conduct 30-day, 90-day, and annual reviews for your team. Check Position Profiles to see training progress and KPI performance across all employees in a given role.
HR / Admin -- You have access to all sections. Use Position Profiles to maintain the link between roles, training, KPIs, and evaluation criteria. Use Recruitment to manage job postings and review applicant sources. Use Onboarding to create and maintain playbooks and approve AI-regenerated content. Use Evaluations to manage templates and review evaluation history across the organization.
How the Modules Connect¶
The HR modules are designed to work together:
- Recruitment brings candidates in through the careers portal
- Position Profiles define what each role requires (training path, KPI template, evaluation criteria)
- When an employee is assigned to a job, their training path and KPI template are auto-populated from the position profile
- Onboarding walks the new hire through role-specific playbooks with tracked progress
- Evaluations measure performance at 30 days, 90 days, and annually using the criteria defined in the position profile
